Procedure

Laser Facial is a treatment that provides skin tightening without surgery. This treatment uses the application of laser energy to cause heating of the collagen in our skin. The result of this is shrinkage of the collagen which causes a tightening of the skin. It is used for skin wrinkling, but not for significant skin looseness. This treatment can be provided on the face and neck.

There is no pain with treatment, just a warm sensation. There is also no downtime. You may be slightly red for an hour or so after treatments. Generally 3 or more treatments are required, at least 1 month apart.

Cost is $2000 and up per treatment.

Excess skin pigmentation or sunspots are usually caused by the melanin protective system in our skin being damaged or overwhelmed. This causes an excess production and clumping of melanin, which in turn shows as the appearance of brown or darker spots of pigmentation in the skin. The cause of most of these sun spots is excessive sun exposure (UV radiation). A very effective method of removing or fading these sunspots is the Q-switched laser. This also has the lowest chance of scarring in comparison to other methods. The procedure is minimally uncomfortable, and generally takes approximately 15 minutes per session depending on the size and number of spots to be treated. Most clients require 1 and sometimes 2 treatments. The discomfort is minimal.

Cost $250 and up.

What is Laser Vein Removal?

By: Cosmetic and Laser Clinic

Laser treatments can effectively treat spider veins in the legs and face. Laser treatment sends strong bursts of light onto the vein. This makes the vein fade or disappear. Lasers are very direct and accurate. Most skin types and colours can be safely treated with lasers.

Laser treatment is more appealing to some patients because it does not use needles or incisions. Depending on the severity of the veins, two to five treatments are generally needed to remove spider veins in the legs.

BOTOX is a simple and safe procedure performed by Dr. Farooq or his nurse. It takes only minutes and requires no recovery time. Hyperhidrosis is caused by unusual working of the sympathetic nerves and sweat glands. Therapeutic Botox temporarily reduces or stops sweat production by blocking these sweat glands and sympathetic nerves. The areas for injection include but are not limited to the underarms, scalp, feet and hands. This treatment generally lasts from 6-9 months during which the patient usually has almost complete cessation of sweating. The treatment uses a very fine needle injected many times into the area being treated. A cold air system is used for patient comfort. Often a local anesthesia is also used to provide optimal comfort during the procedure.

Cost - $350 and up. The cost of the Botox itself is often covered by your insurance carrier.
